  Simply the best wood pellets I have ever used in my Brickwell Big E. High heat, low ash. Only problem as they are super expensive in CT. Right now they go for $285 a ton. When I can go to lowe's and get a ton of average pellets for $219 it makes more sense for the cheaper pellets. I might pay $20 more a ton for them but not $65.

  i love the hamer pellets. this is the first year i have used them and i have been completely satisfied. i only need to clean my stove evert 2-3 weeks (whitfield traditions) compared to the weekly cleanings with other pellets. and the heat output seems to be fantastic. i wont use any other pellets again

  I have a Lopi Yankee Bay stove (Travis Industries), and have tried numerous brands of pellets over the years, including Okanagan, Barefoot, New England, Turman, and Cubex.
  
  Hamer's are unmatchable in my experience for heat output. My stove has six auger settings: at setting 1 these put out enough heat for late fall/early spring. At 2 they get me through the bulk of the winter. At 3 you can't stand near the stove for more than a few seconds.
  
  Ash is generally pretty low, and while I have had occasional exerience with clinkers and blocked airflow, I think it was only with one particular batch. Some batches produced no clinkers at all.
  
  Of course, your mileage may vary; for my stove, I'm done experimenting and this is my only pellet going forward.

  Burnt 1.5 tons this season. Great heat and the lowest ash in my stove. They did clinker in the pot some but I was tripling my burn time between cleanings. A little scrape of the pot-no big deal. I liked these pellets alot. The short pellet length was great for my Enviro FPI. The hopper can be a pain to fill at times but the Hamers packed in it real well.
