Not a bad pellet at all. I do not know how much they are selling for because I only purchased 1 bag from Allstar in Salem MA.
This pellet gave me an entirely different experience from the Michigan brand pellets I had in 2009 (no heat and loads of ash both under the Woodstone name). The fly ash was a little bit more than I usually like, however, it was very light and fluffy (white in color= pretty much a complete burn), which is not big deal to me.
The BTU's were pretty good as well.
Overall this is a good pellet. As mentioned the fly-ash will pile up a bit but it has no weight to it what so ever. The burn-pot staid nice and clear of heavy ash or clink build up as well. Come morning time after a steady burn all night, there were only burning pellets to be had in the burn-pot. Good job Woodstone.
