Throughout the manufacturing process, Valfei softwood pellets undergo several quality controls to assure superior quality. They are also screened two times during processing with the goal of obtaining minimum dust in each bag.
Great Softwood Pellet. I could tell by the smell that they were Douglas Fir, much like the Okanagan Wood Pellets, and the Blazers. These pellets burned very well during a continuous burn. I had a bit of trouble with them during cycles of my thermostat. I found that these pellets have quite a nice burn time for a softwood. My stove took a bit longer than usual to ignite them which led to a lazy flame and alot of soot build up on the glass. However, once going, don't stand too close to the stove. Great heat output with minimal ash. Thumbs up.
